Twenty-one-year-old Jake Patterson pleaded responsible Wednesday to 2 counts of intentional murder and one rely of kidnapping. A rely of armed housebreaking was dropped. The intentional murder counts carry a sentence of life in jail.
Patterson admitted to kidnapping Jayme after killing her mother and father, James and Denise Closs, on the household’s residence on Oct. 15.
Patterson held her at a distant cabin for 88 days earlier than she escaped in January.
A felony criticism says Patterson informed authorities he determined to “take” Jayme after he noticed her getting on a college bus close to her residence.
