An 18-year-old and a 20-year-old are dealing with homicide fees after police arrested them on suspicion of robbing and killing a younger man in Denver’s Baker neighborhood final month.
Ibrahim Amir Musa, 20, and Husham Al Kinani, 18, are being held on suspicion of first-degree homicide and aggravated theft, Denver police mentioned in a information launch Wednesday.
Police arrested Musa on Tuesday, although Kinani had been in police custody since Oct. 30 for investigation of unrelated incidents, Denver police spokesman Doug Schepman mentioned.
Police imagine Musa and Al Kinani robbed three folks on Oct. 18 as the 2 males walked dwelling. Kinani allegedly shot 25-year-old Thomas Steen throughout one of many robberies within the 100 block of North Bannock Avenue, only one block away from standard eating places and bars, like Punch Bowl Social, on North Broadway.
Steen died at an area hospital.
Investigators imagine that Musa and Kinani are the one suspects related to the capturing, although police proceed to research whether or not the 2 younger males are related to different current crimes, Schepman mentioned.
