Denver’s first snow storm of the season blanketed the area early Sunday morning, a fast flip from the sunshine and 60 diploma temperatures that bathed the world Saturday.

A lot of the heavy snow in a single day fell north of Denver, inflicting inches of accumulation within the northern cities alongside the Entrance Vary. Spotters with the Nationwide Climate Service in Boulder recorded 7 inches of snow northeast of Fort Collins and between three and 5 inches elsewhere north of Denver.
