WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — Kyle Connor scored for a 3rd straight sport and the Winnipeg Jets overcame Ilya Kovalchuk’s first NHL objective in 5 years to beat the Los Angeles Kings 2-1 on Tuesday evening.
Mark Scheifele additionally scored and Connor Hellebuyck made 16 saves for the Jets, who outshot the Kings 39-17.
Kovalchuk acquired his first objective since coming back from Russia with the Kings this season on a three-year deal. It was the 418th of his profession.
