INDIAN TRAIL, NC —
Swans evacuated from the North Carolina coast after Hurricane Florence have turn out to be adorably quick mates with one other rescue swan.
The primary of the three swans was dropped at Carolina Waterfowl Rescue after its mate was killed shortly earlier than Florence struck. The second two swans have been rescued from the coast of Wilmington after the storm.
Caretakers at Carolina Waterfowl Rescue put the three birds collectively at their facility in Indian Path, North Carolina, “they usually have not stopped doing their dance since,” in line with director Jennifer Gordon.
“It is uncommon for swans to (type) teams of three, so that is undoubtedly a particular bond,” she added.
