BUENA PARK (CBSLA) – Police swarmed a Buena Park neighborhood Wednesday seeking a presumably armed suspect who fled following a brief pursuit.
Simply after 2 p.m., police tried to tug over a white Honda at Seventh Road and Marshall Avenue, mentioned Buena Park police Sgt. Mike Lovchik. The pursuit lasted for only a block or two earlier than the suspect “bailed” within the 6100 block of Marshall, Lovchik mentioned.
Police arrange a fringe between Commonwealth Avenue and Artesia Boulevard, from Seaside Boulevard and Stanton Avenue. Northbound Seaside was closed at Commonwealth.
The suspect could have been carrying a rifle, Lovchik mentioned. Residents within the space had been urged to remain inside with their doorways and home windows locked.
The suspect is described as a person in his 20s who was carrying black garments, Lovchik mentioned.
It was not instantly clear why police tried to tug the suspect over.
